These challenges take place in diverse settings: rural, urban, and high- or low-resource. In addition, variation in nursing education and responsibilities, access to care, time and commitment from leadership, and divergent attitudes toward healthcare practices exist in almost every country around the world.
Come listen to the fascinating perspectives of leaders from ONS, the International Society of Nurses in Cancer Care (ISNCC), the European Oncology Nursing Society (EONS), and the Canadian Association of Nurses in Oncology (CANO/ACIO) about these challenges. U.S. and non-U.S. nurses alike will learn relevant nursing strategies for applying EBP recommendations when access to care and other cultural or logistical barriers are present. You'll have the opportunity to pose your own questions and success strategies for translating EBP to the needs and nuances of your healthcare system.
